The Flip Comic Strip Series is a series of one page comic strips created by Nine Simon. The first issue of the series was released 1995 and was completed in late 1996. All of the comic strip issues were released on A4 sheets of paper and were maily promoted at events and street cyphers. Much of the content contained taunts aimed at controvertial topics that occured locally around the White City, Shepards Bush, and Ladbroke Grove areas of London.

Reception

The series was critically aclaimed and praised for its concepts. However the art work was critizied on many of the issues. As the series releases were once offs and not mass produced, irumours spread that many of the issues were photocopied and boot legged opportunists. This led to the official photocopying and retailing of later releases in the series. The series spawned a follow up series called The New Adventures Of Flip.
