Global Reach Era
The Global Reach Era was a period in Nine Corporation history the existed between 2013 and 2018 where the organization was able to effortlessly achieve massive global reach via social media.
The era stared when the Nine Corporation launched The World in 2013. The posts from the blog were reposted Facebook and Twitter which essentially made every post go viral. New audiences around the world started to engage with the Nine Corporation which influenced the creative decisions of many Nine Corpers as markets in North America, the Caribbean, and South America exponentially.
During this time Nine Music transitioned to releasing singles on 9Online as opposed to physical CD releases. The importance of The World and 9Online grew enormously during this era, and web advertising became a primary focus for the Nine Corporation.
Many audiences claimed that Nine Corp "was everywhere" during this era. Due to the seemingly endless reposting social media, an article from the world appeared many times around the world on pages and walls of Nine Corpers and their social circle. Many haters also appeared during this era.
The Global Reach Era began to come to an end when Facebook changed it's regulations. The Nine Corporation tried to adapt by using social media automation tools, however, it was not able to recreate the posting and reposting reach that existed prior to the regulation change. But the Nine Corporation's global audience was already established during the Global Reach Era. So although it was more difficult to reach new global audiences, the existing global audience remained.
