The Gold Bar is the Hard Drive that carries the entire product reserve or masters and intellectual data for the Nine Corporation. It was created in 2008 and replaced The Ark Of Nine.

The term was first coined in summer 2011 when the Nine Simon quoted “this special golden hard drive with all our data is to Nine Corp as the US Gold Reserve is to America". It has also been decribed as "Nine Corp's Nuclear Football" by some in the Nine Corp World.

The Gold Bar is backed up by the gold reserve which is a series of alternative hard drives.
