Reception

The song was praised for its clever verse intros and use of the word wigga. The production, which was by Nine Antherms, was also praised for it's nostalgic 80s feel with a festive twist. Merry Christmas Wiggas was sighted as one of two reasons the 2016 Christmas season was so successful, the other being the release of The Awakening.
